We were lucky enough be given tickets by Autotrader to the Goodwood Moving Motor Show last week, the precursor to the exiting Festival of speed. We spent the day wandering around from car to car, taking pictures (and trying to avoid getting too many arms, legs and decapitated heads in the shot), cooing, watching the red arrows and counting just how many E-types we could see (the answer? lots!). A big thanks to Autotrader for the tickets, they were most appreciated!

The highlights are below – have a look through the images to see what you think.
The Top Gear featured Eagle E-Type was as beautiful as we had been led to believe, especially the gorgeous red leather interior.
Ferrari and Mercedes were the only ones really driving around the track at any great speed – kudos for giving us some good sounds to listen to!
Equal kudos to to the Fabia vRS – it looks REALLY smart on that track and took us all by surprise.
It was nice to have a look around the DS4 – which generally got a thumbs up for being pretty nifty, but which had the most incredibly boring door interior.
The Audi Quattro concept was described by some girls nearby as “fierce” – and we were inclined to agree.
Bumblebee had almost as much of a presence as the E-Type did (excepting the massive sculpture, of course!). Just a shame the film doesn’t live up to the hype!
We’ve never seen as much camber in a wheel as we did on the rally Volvo, it looks peculiar to everyone who walked past it! And we know that is what it is “meant” to look like – but it doesn’t stop it looking particularly alien!
It was nice to get up close and personal with the Citroen Survolt, although the rep’s conclusions that “fast driving without the vroom vroom” is what everyone wants is probably a little inaccurate!
Other highlights included that gorgeous Alfa, and of course the Red Arrow’s aerial display!
