BMW EfficientDynamics

If you are planning to buy a new or used BMW, it is a good idea to stick with the newest models that you can afford. That way you get to enjoy the money saving benefits of their fancy EfficentDynamics system, where all the elements are designed to save you fuel and cash. I can’t say that the price you pay for a newer model will be cancelled out, but it will definitely save you significant amounts on road tax or fuel if you choose an economical model.

What are these benefits, I hear you say? Well, they range from that well publicised start/stop technology, through to incredibly lightweight and energy saving electric power steering. Even the carefully throughout exteriors are designed for active aerodynamics, using the same air to both warm and cool. Now that, you have to admit, is pretty clever!

Is it, however, worth paying money for? What do you think?

BMW looks to be investing a lot of time and money into greener cars. The efficient dynamics range look to be setting the standard in fuel efficiency and the MINI E could be the first all electric car to hit mass production.
