Once upon a time, everyone cared about each other. We were communities, who grouped together to make sure that everyone was OK, and who thought about others. Now, however, it seems that the world has changed.

In fact, it seems to have changed enough that the Bedfordshire country council has had to start recruiting voluntary parking patrols, to stop dangerous and inconsiderate parking outside schools. Everyone crowds in at the end of the day, to the point where children are getting hit by cars, and so that emergency vehicles can’t access the school. Roads are being completely blocked, and it seems the schools around Luton are a nightmare.

If this is the case in this one area, it seems likely that other schools are going to follow suit and recruit parking patrols to control unruly parents and their automobiles. Has the world gone made? How selfish to people have to be?!
